West Huay Bong 3 Wind Farm in Thailand
West Huay Bong 3 is a 103.5 MW wind farm supplying zero-carbon electricity to Thailand’s national grid. Forty-five turbines displace fossil generation and deliver a steady stream of verified emission reductions. The project improves local air quality and supports clean-energy growth in a region still dominated by conventional power.
Registered under Gold Standard ID 7746, it generates about 139,000 VERs per year. Certified impacts include cleaner energy access, improved health outcomes, stronger local employment, and direct climate mitigation through grid decarbonisation.
Developed by Kosher Climate India Pvt. Ltd., the installation operates at full commercial scale, providing transparent, measurable emission reductions backed by the Gold Standard for the Global Goals.

Gold Standard
Verified StandardThink of the Gold Standard as the "premium, fair-trade, organic" label of the carbon offsetting world. It's known for being one of the strictest and highest-quality standards. To get a Gold Standard certification, a project can't just prove it reduced carbon; it must also prove it contributed to at least three UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This means the project is also doing extra good, like providing clean water, creating new jobs, or protecting wildlife in the local community.
