Our reforestation portfolio includes projects across the UK (Birchfell, Ashmarsh woodland restoration), India (Sidlaghatta biogas and agroforestry), and Bulgaria (Kubratovo methane capture with replanting). Each project is registered with an international verification standard and audited independently.

It depends on your plan. Per-employee business plans fund approximately 6 trees per tonne of CO₂e offset. A typical 10-person team on the Foundation plan would fund around 324 trees per year. Audit customers fund trees proportional to their measured footprint.

Every CarbonCert plan includes both tree planting and carbon offsetting as part of a complete carbon action plan. We don't offer tree-only plans because tree planting alone doesn't make a business carbon neutral — it needs to be combined with verified carbon credits to make a credible claim.

Your dashboard tracks your cumulative tree count in real time. You also get a downloadable certificate, an embeddable trust badge for your website, and a public verification page (e.g. carboncert.com/verify/your-company) where anyone can independently check your impact.

Yes. All projects are subject to ongoing monitoring by the verification standard (Verra, Gold Standard, or UNFCCC). Projects must demonstrate additionality, permanence, and measurable carbon sequestration to retain their verified status.

We use credits certified under Verra's Verified Carbon Standard (VCS), Gold Standard Voluntary Emission Reductions (VER), and the UNFCCC Clean Development Mechanism (CER). These are the three largest and most regulated carbon standards in the world.

Those platforms focus primarily on tree planting as a standalone product. CarbonCert includes tree planting as part of a complete carbon certification — with a Scope 1/2/3 audit, ISO-aligned certificate, Carbon Reduction Plan, trust badge, and public verification page. It's the difference between "we planted some trees" and "we're verified carbon neutral."

Yes. Your certificate, Carbon Reduction Plan, and public impact page are designed to meet common procurement and ESG reporting requirements — including PPN 06/21 for UK government contracts. All data is aligned to ISO 14064 and the GHG Protocol.
